I place online orders for the Goose Lake location. I have never waited more than 3 minutes at the front desk and in the store, combined. The products are always great. The prices are pretty good, and there's almost always sales. The staff is always friendly and diverse.
I always have friendly service and they are meticulous with your order. But today felt worthy of a review because the cashier told me she loved me 🥰 I think it was a slip like when you accidentally call your teacher Mom. 🤣 But it still made my week! I just said “ I love you too. Thank you! Have a great night!”
Good prices but a very poorly ran dispensary. I've made online orders before getting there and step into the online order line and watch people that walked in after me order in store and leave while I'm still in line.Always understaffed, always long waits. I never experience these troubles at other dispensaries.Poorly managed.
This is my absolute go to dispensary because their selection is usually to my liking. I love the staff and they’re always so kind.My only gripe is that more times than not, the wait times can be incredibly long. And I’m not saying 10-15 minutes long. I have waited for over half an hour on more than a few occasions. There have been a couple times where I’ve left simply because I couldn’t wait. If this was consistently not a thing, it’d be a five star all day
I get my goodies and get out, that’s all that matters to me! It’s usually busy, but the staff is always kind and helpful. even with the rudest customers, and with how busy it is. They are short staffed like everywhere because of hour cuts and labor cuts to be barely operational, and maximizing profits. That is an upper management/corporate issue. The store and staff are great, the quality of everything I’ve gotten has been great, I’ve never had any bad experiences .
Great deals and options, but the juice is not worth the squeeze. I wouldn’t shop here if you value your time. This place is hella slow. Placed an online order to only stand and wait 35 minutes in line. People placing orders in store were getting served before the online orders. This happens routinely. I will not be returning
Ordered and call to make Shure I can get curb check out, confirm yes med patient I am.drove over an hour,pull up called and called over 5 times.it would eventually hang up.caller #1 ya rite,hangs up.sat and called over 40 monthly of trying.eentually opened door and ask for assistance cause I have kids in heat .then guard act like they won't do curbside after 5,I said I've been 2aiting 40 minutes . terrible.i spend a lot and terrible 2ay to treat people.eventually got it,but now we can't do other task because we are covered in sweat ...drive to next one for now on.thousands,your loss
I have had bad service experience for the last few times I’ve come here. One woman with a lot of pins accused me of trying to see her name tag (my sensibilities are insulted in all ways.) the next time I bring my service animal, pay with card and that first woman (who I told the store I didn’t want to beside) was in the register next to me. Guess under that circumstance, the previous encounter feels a bit performative. The lady that was budtendering me put in a 5$ that I couldn’t change. My bag broke and the lady that accused me of stalking her fixed it rather than the bud tender. I drive all the way out here and couldn’t get my order past verification despite calling 2 times. If that wasn’t an option, I would have liked to have just been told to come back rather than strung along.
What’s the point of making an online order when you have stand in a long line and only have one person running the online side but you have three other employees doing in store and medical. The prices are mid and the mangers always act like their doing something productive but just hide in the back and come out when they feel like it.Then they see a long line and go and disappear in car or somewhere in the store. The management sucks here and there’s no motivation to get people in and out and they have a tip jar for what to get paid hourly to do a states job.
Update/edit. My last review was a bit harsh. This location definitely has an excellent selection and great prices. My suggestion is to try and do your shopping in the non-peak times. They do get very busy and sometimes the wait can be rather long.
They have great product but not so good customer service the two ladies that were there were being very rude to the customers that were inside. Making little comments.. One lady said "You guys need to turn up your hearing aids" because a gentleman asked if they could speak up when calling out names.. Was in the online order "only' line for about 15mins once a black couple got to the front the young man was told "uh I can't take you right now" and then proceeded to call 2 or 3 med customers (they have a separate line for those customers) before letting the blk gentleman come up.. I was appalled and disgusted I'm assuming based on what I saw they are extremely understaffed and needs help those poor girls looked overwhelmed, overworked, and extremely agitated that they had to serve us. I can't say I won't be back cause as I said the product is great but hopefully they have some help next time or I may check out the other locations they have. Because I like to feel comfortable in a place where I'm spending my money and that was just not a good experience for a first time customer.
There is not one team member at this store that I have any problems with at all. They are all very knowledgeable and patient with everything. They endure more hostility and anger than you would even think of.. if you’re having a bad day please don’t yell at them. They do whatever they can to keep customers HAPPY!! Remember don’t piss of the people that handle your weed! They’re allowed to ban and restrict ANYONE for ANY REASON. They try not to do that because of how NICE ALL OF THE STAFF IS….please be as nice to your bud-tenders just as you would your friends. Most of them have become my friends..thanks again to ALL OF YOU!! Love y’all!!!
I am off work due to medical Leave and unable to walk. I communicated via live chat and was informed could get curbside pick up, I had to inquire of the guard who didn't know and a customer service rep came out and told me it's only available for medical. I struggle with crutches inside and after waiting for awhile, I was told I wasn't STANDING in the right line. Never this location again. None of this would have occurred at the Mississippi Road location.
Great customer service! He was informative and respectful usually I get that I don’t wanna be bothered attitude it lately everyone there has been great! Difference in management.
Melanie Bellante always makes every visit I have here BETTER. A hundred watt smile and a helpful disposition, she doesn’t make you feel like a number or “just another customer. She also gives iron clad, bulletproof advice on what products to buy and which deals to take advantage of.Total Pro. Great place. The BEST prices in all of Illinois.
Employees were great, product selection was on point, but the wait for online orders was extremely long even within the pick up time window. Will definitely be back but will order in store next time.
I would like to thank Brian. You're security guard for helping me out before? I was having a panic attack. He did my Check-in for me and was very helpful and I am very appreciative.
Products are fine, but every time I'm here it's like pulling teeth getting through here. You guys need to look at how Ascend gets people in and out. Hire more people!!!Came in today and they had a lot more people working. I was in & out! Much improved from last time!!! That was the only downside and now that it's been fixed!
I have been in there a couple times, every time I have been Ashley S has gone above and beyond! She has gone out of her way to teach me about all the products and has made me feel comfortable every time. 10/10 experience and if you get a chance to have Ashley help you out I promise she will make you feel like family!
They had great deals but it was not set up efficiently as a medical holder. Only 1 person checking people in and there was a long line. I waited almost 15 minutes just to be checked in. Then only 1 person in the med room was helping people so that also took a while. All in all it took me almost 30 minutes to get through the building for a very simple order.I liked the place as a whole but felt very much like just an-in and out customer. Nothing but the price is really the only reason I'd come back.
This has been my place for almost two years, and I like it for the quality products, and great staff. Today Aimee helped me, and as usual, she was brilliant. I didn’t get his name, but want to give a shout out to the security guard too! He’s always on his toes and very nice.
Last visit everything was very, very nice came through individuals. Help me make selections on the tab and was able to get In-N-Out within 20 minutes. The Visit was very pleasant. And I left with everything that I needed.Please note I've been there several times and I've never encountered and employed there. That was not genuinely friendly and willing to help
Great place! I would have given it five stars but it's just not in a very safe location. the store might not necessarily be able to help that. But they make me feel safe a secure the whole time I was there!
Never go here unless you have all day to waste. Today was my first time going and the line was all the way back to the door and they had one person . ONE Person serving the line and he was old so he was already taking a long time. I didn’t even get my order it took that long a true waste of time just go to ascend in and out with good deals. They never have one person working register either
Wanted to give them a fair chance before jumping to conclusions, but I’ve been coming here for 3 years now and this is one of the poorest run business of all time. Never properly staffed, never properly stocked, and today giving the biggest discount they’ve ever offered, only have 3 cashiers checking people out. There are 30+ people waiting and any idiot could have told you discount = more sales. Just lazy and a joke business
I love this place but they have to address there wait times especially for online orders. It's a very simple fix. Go to a one line system. Your customers will greatly appreciate this small fix. Guaranteed to see many more smiling face in line. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix this 🙏.
This place is really disappointing now. I've been coming here for here for years, telling people this was the best dispensary in the area. I don't think that's true anymore. Aside from the 1 or 2 awesome employees, this place isn't worth coming to anymore. The wait times are horrendous and seeing 5 people behind the counter, not one of which helping a customer, with at least 6 customers in line behind me, I can't justify coming back. Especially not after seeing customers get legitimately yelled at on the sales floor for being on their phone. Whatever the reason, put some signs up. Don't yell at people. It's that easy. Once I use my points for a free visit, I'm gone. I'll try Ascend or maybe the MO side of the river. This place used to care and value customer service. Bummer.
