First time there, and I needed help to place an order because when I tried to do it online, I couldn't use my birthday month or first time code or the 5 dollars off they give you. So I needed help told the guy working there and he went to the machine with me and told him I wanted to use all that and he said, "Oh yeah, I can help. He didn't help me do anything but walk me to the machine. I couldn't use any of the promotions. What a joke. I will never go back.

You sold me a bad vape. It doesn't work. I puff and it's air. I tried two different pens and the same thing I just bought it and opened it. I told myself I was done coming here. I mentioned it to someone they never said anything about a replacement. I really need to disconnect with this location. Lines with two ppl working are just insane all the space but no workers.
I have only been to this location twice but they are off to a really good start. First off they were open which is more than I can say for Mission which is now temporarily closed with no reopening date in sight.So far I have found the selection of products better than Mission and have been on every occasion able to find several products that were in my price range to choose from.The staff on both occasions have been great. They have a security guard outside and I didn’t wait in line at all. Which is important at the end of a long day (right before closing).I certainly hope Mission reopens because it’s 3 blocks from my home, but if they don’t Windy City will be able to keep me supplied with the live resin vapes I have grown fond of.

I realize it’s Illinois state law but my God, I waited over an hour and then I just left Save yourself not only your hard earned money but your time And head northeast to pure Michigan

This dispensary has sadly declined in safety and comfort. Previously a reliable spot, lax security now allows unstable individuals to cause distress with threats and erratic behavior. Many people I have talked to feel uneasy and are considering other dispensaries due to these concerning developments. I heard there were guys making shooting threats and some dude came in fighting everyone

EDIT: I spoke with the general manager of the Homewood location, Matt. We were able to discuss the issues I have been experiencing at the dispensary including the issue on 4/20 and Matt offered me an acceptable offer to try Windy City again. I was able to come in and get my product with no issues, everyone was polite. I will continue to give Windy City Cannabis my business at this time. I also added another star.I've been coming to this dispensary for 6 or 7 years now as a medical card holder. The customer service has increasingly declined over the years, especially since recreational became a thing. There are different people working every time I go in. I almost never recognize anyone amymore and I'm usually always in around the same time during the week. I used to be able to walk in and see the same person, and he knew my name. And he never acted like my presence was a thorn in his side. My most recent visit on 4/20 and the subsequent changes in the rewards program have me looking for a new medical dispensary.On 4/20, I ordered 2oz and a few pre rolls. My allotment is currently 2.5 ounces in a 2 week period. I got all the way through the transaction, paid for my medication, and was ready to go when I wad told I couldn't have my full order because I was over my allotment. I was the first person through the door on 4/20 and there was a long line of both med and rec people waiting behind me. I asked the cashier to please explain to me how the allotment refilled as this was only my 2nd time reaching it. I didn't understand that it didn't refill until the 15th day. The cashier either did not understand my question or didn't want to deal with it because she was starting to get loud with me. I was not angry, just confused and explained as much. It was extremely embarrassing. I was offered 10 loyalty points for my inconvenience, however when the manager came over he said he would only give me 1 loyalty point.Furthermore, during that visit, I was reminded to use my loyalty points as they would soon expire when switched to the new system. I said that I wanted to save them until the last minute and confirmed with the cashier that they expired at the end of May. Clearly I was wrong, as they expired 4/30 and I lost over $60 in loyalty. Because I wasn't able to get my full order on 4/20 and I lost my loyalty points, I dont have enough money for my medication this week and will be going without a major part of my pain regimen for the next 1.5 weeks. As a 3x survivor of brain surgeries with part of my brain still hanging in my neck, im going to suffer immeasurably this week. But Windy City only cares about making its next buck, so that's why I'm currently looking for a new medical dispensary.

SHOUT OUT TO SARA!! Great dispensary with good prices and some really awesome sales. Last visit my transaction was handled by Sara. She is GREAT! I've had my med card for about 5 years and she is the best dispensary agent I have ever dealt with. Friendly, competent, and so thorough. The purpose of my review is to point out to her bosses what an asset you have in her. A singularly excellent experience that stands out. She's a keeper and I hope manages a sales staff in the future. She knows what it's all about!! Keep up the good service and great sales!

After posting my review about my medical card experience The staff decided to lie about Illinois protocols concerning medical card regulations. No you are not required to see my medical card when I enter your facility especially since it is a recreational and medical facility also I have visited numerous Wendy city locations and no one has ever asked for my medical card at the door except for the remedial people at Homewood I refuse to call the number because anytime you call their customer service number they do not answer when you step inside of the building the front desk people especially the younger black girls have attitudes and I say this as a younger black girl myself So instead of responding to reviews with false information maybe windy city should focus on their customer service. Last week I went on the third Wednesday which is medical card day and the line was to the back of the store while they took all of the recreational customers first so I think Windy city has even bigger problems before I report them to the state.

They always have a wide variety in selection of very good marijuana products. Everyime I go in, I get fast and courteous service. If I have any questions, they're answered to the best of the associates knowledge. I also enjoy their sales they have every first Monday and third Wednesday of the month, saving up to 35% on every product in the store. I will always shop here because it does feel like a second home.

I'm warming up to the new ones, too, though 😒 slowly. lol Change is hard for me, but the new design is beautiful and popping!The military discounts are off the charts, and I always come away completely satisfied. I wish that when my medical allotment ran out, I could buy it as a regular customer, but you can't win them all 🤷🏽‍♀️👀

I can't believe this establishment allowed so many customers to wait in a ridiculously long line, just to make it to the register and say all black Friday items are sold out. I stood in line for nothing!!! Over an hour! This is not the first time I've had issues with this dispensary. Tried to give them another chance but never again! I've spent a lot of money at this place and for this to happen is the last straw they will never get my business again.
I'm thrilled to have this dispensary so close to home. I've been going here almost since it opened and I really enjoy relating to the staff as I find that they are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Of course, if you ever have any questions or problems while not at the dispensary, you can always call and speak to someone who will be glad to be of help.They have an enormous selection from which to choose and decent sales. While you don't get to combine them, you can do so with your birthday discount. There are some nice extras also. E.g., if you bring your receipt to Trendsetter / Happy Daze you get a percentage off of your purchase there based on the amount you spend, and vice versa. Also, you earn a percentage, or "reward" for what you spend at Windy City and you can spend that (in whole or in part), the next time you visit or keep it and let it build as long as you wish (if you want to amass a large savings), because your "rewards" never expire.I only have one complaint: I really wish they would remove that awkwardly obtrusive, median-like strip at the parking lot entrance. Particularly when entering the lot, an abnormally large swerve is required to avoid the thing and when one car is entering and another exiting simultaneously, it's doubly troubling. When it's raining and/or dark, it's difficult to see and very easy to drive into/onto the thing and damage your car.

Negative review incoming. Ordered online. The stores had 50% off 7G deals. I got there to pick up my order and they refuse to honor the deal. Stating it was a coding error in the system. They would give me $10 off. As you can imagine that’s a huge difference. $300 total vs $150. Highly unacceptable.

I was pleased to discover that the line for medicinal cannabis was very short.The young lady behind the counter was very helpful and patient throughout my visit. She made recommendations on the various products available, and made my time there easy and quick.Given my wife's medical situation, I'm pretty sure I will be back.It would have been nice to have a place like this during my college years. 😎

Very good experience at this dispensary. Illinois is not a reciprocal state, meaning they don't honor out of state medical cards. However, I did get a 15% discount for out of state patient or 20% first timer. The people there are very friendly and helpful. Selection was excellent.
