The staff at this Sunnyside location in Buffalo Grove are SUPER nice and helpful! They offer a wide variety of products in varying degrees of quality with fair and decent prices, and they ALMOST ALWAYS have a good sale to take advantage of. I visit this location about once a week or so, and Ive only ever paid full, non-discounted prices on one or two occasions. Today I had an incident where they accidentally shorted me $10 in change, but I didn't realize it until I got home. I called right away and spoke with one of the supervisors, Leslie, who was very kind and apologetic. I was kind of expecting that I would have to just accept the loss since I should have been paying closer attention, but wanted to tell them that one of their registers was going to be over because I've worked retail jobs where that was a big problem. I was pleasantly surprised when Leslie immediately offered to credit me $10 for the next time I come in. I didn't even have an opportunity to ask for my money back because they were so quick to take accountability, and willingly fix their mistake! During my visit, a different manager/supervisor who's name I didn't catch (she was short, maybe early to mid 20s, w/short, dark hair) had honored an admittedly sketchy, hand written "coupon" for a free battery, that another employee had given me about a week and a half prior during some promotion they were running, despite her and the staff seemingly having no Earthly idea what I was talking about. I wasn't going to push the issue if they decided not to honor it, but it never even had to get that far. In the era of "company clapbacks," where businesses seem to have adopted a, "the customer is NEVER right," motto, Buffalo Groves Sunnyside location is more than just a cut above the rest. It is a shining beacon in the dark annals of capitalist greed. This store has gained a customer for life, and you can bet I'll be sending more tokers their way.I HIGHLY recommend this dispensary to any and every cannabis consumer, whether medical or recreational. Especially for those of us who value integrity, quality, and good customer service.

I have been shopping at Sunnyside for three years and their staff is unbelievably helpful & knowledgeable! This week, I had to pleasure of meeting Nicole. I’ve been using the same counting sheep sleep gummies for the past couple of years but I was not staying asleep. She recommended two new kinds to try and I have to say I had the best two nights of sleep I’ve ever had! I have never been a recreational drug user. I lost my brother to an overdose a few years ago and this is a big step for me coming to this store. I lost the ability to sleep after having the original strain of Covid in 2020 and my dreams became so unbelievably vivid when I did sleep with the help of advil pm. I purchased two new gummies and the past two nights I stayed asleep with no bad dreams! Super grateful to have met Nicole. She was very understanding and is a very kind & compassionate person. First time trying sunnyside and the shop is so pretty first off, i just enjoyed looking at everything. Very quick to get me in, hardly any waiting. It was honestly hard to pick some products so I did want to give a little shoutout to my budtender Beth for helping out. She was beyond helpful and patient! Loved her energy as soon as i came up and appreciated her being honest and understanding towards what i was looking for/my concerns. They have some superior and genuine customer service skills and the most enlightening attitude. I have ran across in a while and a customer service-based job every time I come in, they are always great and extremely helpful. I love customer service like that and by the way, this goes to the manager of the store give them some time off because they are always their MAX & JACQUI Management. 2nd time being her, 1st time was great! This time was not the best, didn’t see his name but it was in a purple tag, bald guy with beard on today June 15th. Guy was very rude not very helpful. Over all bad experience it seemed like the guy was not happy to be there, if you don’t like your job find a different job! I will not come back if this is the service that will be provided. Very bad customer service. He didn’t even care to ask to enroll me for points when I asked if I had points.

Saw they had a good sale so I placed an order online. Get to the store and they say the manager changed the sale halfway through the day, won’t honor the original price I ordered at. Classic bait and switch. I wasn’t going to waste a trip or argue with the cashier, it was a few dollars difference so I paid and got out of there. BUT I will not be back! Cannot recommend them to anyone based on their shady business practices. A few dollars difference could have kept me as a repeat customer but they chose greed, and I will choose to shop elsewhere.

I heavily think they should consider accepting credit cards. Sure it’s more taxes for them, but they would get 10x more customers. They asked me to enter a debit card pin and my bank flagged the transaction due to their machine. I wasn’t able to use my card until a bank branch opened the next day because of this. Sold a product that didn't function. Called their store, spoke with Chris, was told that they can look up the receipt using the points account if I didn't have a copy, and that the manager will be aware when I come by for an exchange.I drive over, manager says they can't help unless there's a physical receipt, otherwise the best they can do is give a discount on a new product. Why would I want to spend more money when the first $53 dollars were a wash? Unhelpful.

I absolutely love this place! First, they are always so incredibly organized, and it’s always super easy to get in and out quickly. (I found this to be a big difference from another dispensary company.) Also, I find that their product seems higher quality to me, and always comparable or better prices than their competitors. Most importantly though, I love the people here. It’s so hard to name them all - Matt, Max D, Mollie, Terrell, (the super cool guy with long hair and hippie vibes - eek I feel bad I can’t recall his name, he’s the best!* He really helped my mom who has Alzheimer’s), Jimmy, Joe, Edgar - from the front desk to security, these folks are so friendly, so helpful. They always welcome me and make me feel like I’m among friends/family, and for that I am so grateful. I actually look forward to seeing them and saying hello! I went to go pick up a cart of afternoon delight.And I was met with Jo, who had the biggest most inviting smile and long foxy red hair. After looking around for a bit, she was the first to approach me, and I found her recommendations on the inspo+ to be exactly what i needed and was looking for. Saw they had a good sale so I placed an order online. Get to the store and they say the manager changed the sale halfway through the day, won’t honor the original price I ordered at. Classic bait and switch. I wasn’t going to waste a trip or argue with the cashier, it was a few dollars difference so I paid and got out of there. BUT I will not be back! Cannot recommend them to anyone based on their shady business practices. A few dollars difference could have kept me as a repeat customer but they chose greed, and I will choose to shop elsewhere.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I learn something every time I go. Prices are good. Not displaying tip jars prominently is a mistake. No one makes anyone tip but I shouldn't have to ask where it is. Lastly, fix your points sign-up system. It's BROKEN

It's a little out of my way, but very much worth the detour! I have only had good, knowledgeable, and friendly experiences here. Although I do recommend placing your order online just to expedite the process, the checkout has always been fast and smooth for me. Great store!

I love coming here! This location is my favorite because of the people. Darren, Scottie, Chris and Brandon are always so willing to help and accommodate my needs as a medical patient. There was another fella, but I haven’t seen him in awhile. I hope the staff at this store doesn’t change anytime soon, because they are what makes this place great to come to every week.

I heavily think they should consider accepting credit cards. Sure it’s more taxes for them, but they would get 10x more customers. They asked me to enter a debit card pin and my bank flagged the transaction due to their machine. I wasn’t able to use my card until a bank branch opened the next day because of this. Sucky situation.

I’m from out of state, my backward republican state has NO dispensaries!Although other dispensaries are much closer to me, I always drive to Sunnyside.Sunnyside is much nicer than others, more modern, & professional. Plus the employees are really cool & very helpful!I love that place! Thanks guys!!!

Sold a product that didn't function. Called their store, spoke with Chris, was told that they can look up the receipt using the points account if I didn't have a copy, and that the manager will be aware when I come by for an exchange.I drive over, manager says they can't help unless there's a physical receipt, otherwise the best they can do is give a discount on a new product. Why would I want to spend more money when the first $53 dollars were a wash? Unhelpful.

Been a customer for a while and I just open my vape and it looks like someone has been taking hits and then sealed it and sold it as it. So I would open up anything you buy from them before leaving the parking lot.

I absolutely love this place! First, they are always so incredibly organized, and it’s always super easy to get in and out quickly. (I found this to be a big difference from another dispensary company.) Also, I find that their product seems higher quality to me, and always comparable or better prices than their competitors. Most importantly though, I love the people here. It’s so hard to name them all - Matt, Max D, Mollie, Terrell, (the super cool guy with long hair and hippie vibes - eek I feel bad I can’t recall his name, he’s the best!* He really helped my mom who has Alzheimer’s), Jimmy, Joe, Edgar - from the front desk to security, these folks are so friendly, so helpful. They always welcome me and make me feel like I’m among friends/family, and for that I am so grateful. I actually look forward to seeing them and saying hello! Overall, great store and even better people - definitely my favorite dispensary I’ve ever been too. Go check them out!*Update - his name is Jordan! 🙂

I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Mikey so many times !! He is wonderful ! And had a lot of knowledge !!I also stopped in today 1/26/23 and was taken care of by Miya !!!! She was super sweet and the checkout process was fast !!My favorite dispensary by far !! Can’t go anywhere else !
