Hawaiian Ethos has great quality products. I am a big fan of their edibles; they have great selection. Staff has only ever been helpful and friendly. The fact that you can use a credit card is next level bc I hate taking cash out bc of atm fees. Having a pre-order system is also clutch. Location is convenient, never had to wait.

Not a dispensary for a mainland visitor, very unfriendly and left me waiting a long time doing ( paperwork) go to Big Island Grow got me in did (paperwork) in two min had me in and out in 15 min with 10$ discount made me feel like the only coustmer there . Can see for sure why this ethos was empty don’t waste your time here ( Hilo)

Let me start out by saying I take no pleasure in writing this review and that I have avoided doing so many times over the past year because I believe that every business has off days and stuff happens ect…but for there only being two dispensaries in Kona, this one is significantly the worse out of the two. The flower not only is consistently bad (dark in color, overly dry, poorly packaged) we recently bought some popcorn and it was extremely poor in quality (leaves, stems and shake hardly any small buds at all). We spend a lot on bud and have pretty knowledgeable understanding of what dispensary quality should be like and this place misses the mark EVERY time. Hopefully they get it together.

I have been a patient for a few years now and I have never had this much care put into explaining the medicine I am purchasing by employees before! The salve I picked up last time has greatly improved my back pain! I haven’t been able to make a lot of long term progress, however, this salve has definitely been making a difference after putting it on before bed multiple nights now! It has allowed my back to release/relax some from the injury that made me a patient. Gummies I bought have also helped me sleep calmly and are fancy lavender flavored! 🙏 Great staff and great products! ❤️🥳

There are a range of organicly grown, high quality product offered in a fairly (for me) wide range of processing styles. Amazing products! I love how transparent they are with their processing, and truly give the purest cannabis on Island. All products are 100% solventless, and I love that their packaging is compostable/recyclable. Hawaiian Ethos clearly has the environment and the community at the core of their mission. Now this is what I imagined a medicinal cannabis dispensary to be. They treat the cannabis like medicine and their customers like patients in need of assistance and education. From top to bottom, I love everything here: their flower smells and tastes like flowers, the customer service is excellent, and I like the way they put the terpene amounts on all of their medicine. Very helpful and educational. I feel like Hawaiian Ethos is not just in the business of selling legal weed. They know, understand, and respect the opportunity they've been given to serve and represent the community in this "budding" business (pun intended). Thanks Hawaiian Ethos!

The only reason I’m generously giving three stars to Hawaiian Ethos is because in the past I have appreciated their products. I recently purchased a $50 cartridge which once I inserted it into my pen and tried to use it wouldn’t work. It then wouldn’t come out when I tried to unscrew it and it ended up breaking my pen. When I took it back to try and see if I can get a refund or an exchange them for me all they could do is give me a small discount towards future purchases. All I wanted to do a swap it out. The girl at the front even took a look at the pen, and saw that the entire spring was off and broken, but said she couldn’t do anything per her manager. At least Big Island Grown dispensary offered me a $1 new cartridge when a brand new one ended up leaking/defective at the beginning of use last year. Guess I’ll take my business back to them....

Great to have options!! Hard to believe a year ago, this was still "in the works" like the dispensaries have been billed for years. Now we have 4 places on the Island and 2 in Kona. While the competition is much much closer to where I live (which makes it hard to resist with my tight work schedule), I prefer this shop. The staff is extremely friendly, their carts are so delicious and much better than the other store and I love how the product is as close to 100% natural as u can possibly get. No cheating or enhancing, just our amazing sun! Mahalo everyone who puts the effort into making this store so top notch

I have an out of state reciprocal medical card, and they were very excited to get me my medicine so I could get on with my day enjoy the island. Thanks for the totally killer hospitality and service.
