Cannabis prices in Connecticut are higher than they are in Massachusetts. This is an uncontested fact. But with it now being legal in Connecticut for adult use, it's important to support our local dispensaries and growers. This location is always clean, well lit. Security and front staff are always nice and professional. The people who work in the dispensary are always friendly and helpful. They have a solid selection of most things and at least a few of everything. Saving money is undoubtedly important so I would never criticize anyone for driving to Massachusetts for better prices. But if you want to go to a dispensary in Connecticut and have a really good overall experience with nice people who are good at their jobs, I highly recommend Botanist. Five stars all around.

Beautiful new store and overall friendly , welcoming service. I have had my medical card in CT since BEFORE there were any dispensaries, so I go back many years. I always used Prime Wellness in South Windsor until they moved here. My personal preference was the old setup; MUCH closer to my home, quick in & out (once the long lines of early days died) and I didn't have to show my card 4 times. Also, selection and pricing were MUCH better back in the day but product availability and pricing largely falls on the growers not retailers. I like the loyalty program here and the employees at the counter are all SO helpful. I have known some for years. The front security people, well....

Long time medical card holder, and have only had one dispensary in the entire time. Pricing has become a joke, and the selection is minimal at best. What was already limited before retail recreational began has become insanely overpriced, only available in small amounts, and with baby aspirin potency compared to what we have had for the years before. I have not had a bad experience with staff, but I do think they could tone down the saccharine sweetness at the counter, which does seem like performance art, as well as remove the tip jars. Like how are you justifying that?????Patients are better off just driving to MA & paying the taxes.

To be fair I am writing this review because of the fact that it's part of the grab bag cards of December to get 25 percent off in January. However; I've had my med card for 7 or 8 years and I can basically pre-order weed tax free from the parking lot and the pharmacy will have it ready within 5 minutes. Extremely well staffed, almost always an extra person working to answer phones, great customer service that's individualized to your specific needs...I could go on and on. The only thing I can even complain about is the lack of product recently which is not Primes fault- same thing everywhere. Best med dispensary in the state.

I would like to mention one person in particular who has help me the most his name is Luke . Luke takes care of me in a way that no one else does, not only does he know my family by first names he knows all of my medication‘s . He is extremely smart and very emotionally connected. If I just picked up, I don’t need to come back tomorrow and pick up again. Prices are high for something that grows from the earth, little sales etc should not be complicated and given more frequently to customers considering this is medical and people really do need it. However, their staff is simply top notch and I really love seeing and chatting with them every visit, they bend over backwards to help you any way that they can.

Prime Wellness has adapted to the change quickly and I know that everyone involved is working harder to accommodate patients needs.I would never change dispensaries because it would be hard-pressed to find another medical dispensary that could be as well-run and inviting as Prime Wellness.In terms of favorite staff, I really would never judge the staff as to who is the best member. Each and every staff member I’ve had contact with were unique, caring, knowledgeable and friendly. Prime Wellness is a great facility. Every employee is so kind and knowledgeable. It is a comfortable safe environment to buy your medical marijuana. The process of ordering is done by a click of a few buttons which is very easy. If you aren’t tech savvy or just would rather make an order over the phone you can also do so. One of the best things about Prime is all the incentives. You can accrue points and receive money off your order when you reach a certain amount. You don’t have to use them right away either which is nice. The whole process is so smooth and seamless! When I first started coming here I met with a fabulous pharmacist who helped me to figure out what to get and even came with me to show me “how it’s done”. This was very helpful! I would highly recommend going to Prime Wellness! I can’t say enough good things about it.

The welcome phone call with Zack was the only pleasant part for this experience l. The people at the door and next door are extremely rude and offer no type of friendliness. The girl who checked me in was about as rude as they come and talks down to you when she actually speaks or looks at you with the most disgusting face ever. Your process of new patients and the way you explain it is horrible. For someone who came in with all paperwork already filled out for you id's in hand you guys were very rude and for someone who spends 300 a week well you will never get my money again

Their building is clean, there is very little waiting outside (in the cold this is a big PLUS), the staff are efficient and knowledgeable with their products. They also run toy drives and clothes drives for the community which is always great to see. This dispensary charges the most compared to a few other locations in CT. I'm not sure how Prime Wellness can charge more for the same item offered down the road in Hartford (Curaleaf). Prime also requires you to spend $500 to earn $5 loyalty points. Where Curaleaf in comparison required you to spend only $100 to earn $5. That means, Prime is 5x more expensive in that regard. Prime Wellness gives %10 discount off your purchase if you're a member of the compassionate care program. Where Curaleaf gives %20 discount on the same program. Its actually silly how much more Prime Wellness can charge their customers. I highly suggest shopping for your medications elsewhere.

If you have your card and plan on visiting this dispensary, plan on waiting outside for an extended period of time with overzealous security personnel. Unfortunately had several terrible experiences and not just minor errors but like deliberate “insult to injury” situations (i made these aware for weeks before they continually happened). My overall experience between the rapidly rude changing staff and the products which are there and never in stock again, its like you’re literally gambling with your time, money and health….i come here in severe debilitating pain on a regular basis looking for relief and leave here feeling worse on a whole different level. The staff can be fabulous but if you can’t get the same product twice in a row it doesn’t matter. In a year and a half my pain regimen has had to change every single month because nothing can be repeated. Helpful advice from staff has included better ways I might smoke (I have asthma, that would be a hard “no”, tried that) and “oh no, can I substitute a completely different product you have never tried?” in response to a missing product. Nice but no thanks. Handicap parking availability is stupid, they block closer walking space because of line formation for their convenience. In the meantime prices climb 30% and more, way more. Non-smoker? Go elsewhere. This place doesn’t care about you or your medical needs.

Horrible attitude by the bald guy that works there. Will definitely be finding a better dispensary. Also they let people that start alertacations in before 2 patients one of which was minding their own business. Also employees like to make fun of the patients that visit.

Pharm Techs and Front of the house are awesome. Phone wait time minimum is 9-12 minutes in my experience. Very difficult to obtain the same product twice if it's in demand. Lines through ALL SEASONS are brutal. If you are into concentrates, stay away- there is little customer service around obtaining/keeping products supply based on their demand at this location. TOO MANY PATIENTS not enough products or staff. Switching to Fine Fettle. Also I have learned to never go there after 3pm on a Friday. >_

The product is good, pricing is good and the selection is good. However, customer service is poor. Phone hold times of 5-6 minutes are the norm and often I just hang up. Last time I had a curbside pickup, I was put on hold when calling them to tell them I was there. Another customer pulled in, called up and had their order brought out to them and I was still on hold. The excuse was they are short handed.

The customer service is off the charts. I’m blown away by how knowledgeable, personable, professional, patient, helpful, kind and caring the staff is. Though the menu can be overwhelming (SO much to choose from!), I had no trouble finding someone to help me pick out exactly what would best suit my needs. Each person with whom I interacted went above and beyond my expectations. I really did not know just how much these products have to offer, the benefits are countless. This is not about getting “high”, nor is it treated as such. I’m speechless. The woman at the checkout counter took her time to answer every question I had, and so many questions I didn’t even know I had. I’ve only made one purchase so far but I’m really excited to try more products. I bought a 1:1 CBD/THC lotion and cannot stop talking about it. Not unlike a genuine miracle, rub it on and the pain disappears!! The first night I used it, I slept better than I have in YEARS!

Cannabis prices in Connecticut are higher than they are in Massachusetts. This is an uncontested fact. But with it now being legal in Connecticut for adult use, it's important to support our local dispensaries and growers. This location is always clean, well lit. Security and front staff are always nice and professional. The people who work in the dispensary are always friendly and helpful. They have a solid selection of most things and at least a few of everything. Saving money is undoubtedly important so I would never criticize anyone for driving to Massachusetts for better prices. But if you want to go to a dispensary in Connecticut and have a really good overall experience with nice people who are good at their jobs, I highly recommend Botanist. Five stars all around.

Beautiful new store and overall friendly , welcoming service. I have had my medical card in CT since BEFORE there were any dispensaries, so I go back many years. I always used Prime Wellness in South Windsor until they moved here. My personal preference was the old setup; MUCH closer to my home, quick in & out (once the long lines of early days died) and I didn't have to show my card 4 times. Also, selection and pricing were MUCH better back in the day but product availability and pricing largely falls on the growers not retailers. I like the loyalty program here and the employees at the counter are all SO helpful. I have known some for years. The front security people, well....

Long time medical card holder, and have only had one dispensary in the entire time. Pricing has become a joke, and the selection is minimal at best. What was already limited before retail recreational began has become insanely overpriced, only available in small amounts, and with baby aspirin potency compared to what we have had for the years before. I have not had a bad experience with staff, but I do think they could tone down the saccharine sweetness at the counter, which does seem like performance art, as well as remove the tip jars. Like how are you justifying that?????Patients are better off just driving to MA & paying the taxes.

To be fair I am writing this review because of the fact that it's part of the grab bag cards of December to get 25 percent off in January. However; I've had my med card for 7 or 8 years and I can basically pre-order weed tax free from the parking lot and the pharmacy will have it ready within 5 minutes. Extremely well staffed, almost always an extra person working to answer phones, great customer service that's individualized to your specific needs...I could go on and on. The only thing I can even complain about is the lack of product recently which is not Primes fault- same thing everywhere. Best med dispensary in the state.

I would like to mention one person in particular who has help me the most his name is Luke . Luke takes care of me in a way that no one else does, not only does he know my family by first names he knows all of my medication‘s . He is extremely smart and very emotionally connected. If I just picked up, I don’t need to come back tomorrow and pick up again. Prices are high for something that grows from the earth, little sales etc should not be complicated and given more frequently to customers considering this is medical and people really do need it. However, their staff is simply top notch and I really love seeing and chatting with them every visit, they bend over backwards to help you any way that they can.

Prime Wellness has been my first and only dispensary for over four years now and for so many reasons it’s been a wonderful experience with really down to earth staff that truly cares about each and every one of us. Prime Wellness has adapted to the change quickly and I know that everyone involved is working harder to accommodate patients needs.I would never change dispensaries because it would be hard-pressed to find another medical dispensary that could be as well-run and inviting as Prime Wellness.In terms of favorite staff, I really would never judge the staff as to who is the best member. Each and every staff member I’ve had contact with were unique, caring, knowledgeable and friendly. Well no!!! I pray everyday that this world opens their eyes to an amazing success with medical cannabis. Her meds are $4000 a month. Prime Wellness is a great facility. Every employee is so kind and knowledgeable. It is a comfortable safe environment to buy your medical marijuana. The process of ordering is done by a click of a few buttons which is very easy. If you aren’t tech savvy or just would rather make an order over the phone you can also do so. One of the best things about Prime is all the incentives. You can accrue points and receive money off your order when you reach a certain amount. You don’t have to use them right away either which is nice. The whole process is so smooth and seamless! When I first started coming here I met with a fabulous pharmacist who helped me to figure out what to get and even came with me to show me “how it’s done”. This was very helpful! I would highly recommend going to Prime Wellness! I can’t say enough good things about it.

I see all these reviews about nice professional staff. Well I for one am having the worst experience ever with these people. The welcome phone call with Zack was the only pleasant part for this experience l. The people at the door and next door are extremely rude and offer no type of friendliness. The girl who checked me in was about as rude as they come and talks down to you when she actually speaks or looks at you with the most disgusting face ever. Your process of new patients and the way you explain it is horrible. For someone who came in with all paperwork already filled out for you id's in hand you guys were very rude and for someone who spends 300 a week well you will never get my money again

The people that work here make this place hands down the most enjoyable dispensary around with that being said it is definitely one of the more pricey dispensaries, and one of the lowest selection choices. With the absence of bundle discounts and other sales/deals that other stores offer i find myself driving the extra 5 minutes to a different store. Once they catch up with other stores with prices and selections Ill be back

I frequent Prime Wellness as my dispensary. Their building is clean, there is very little waiting outside (in the cold this is a big PLUS), the staff are efficient and knowledgeable with their products. They also run toy drives and clothes drives for the community which is always great to see. I have been going to medical dispensaries since 2016 and only in the last year have switched to Prime but I do not intend to go anywhere else. Definitely recommend.

This dispensary charges the most compared to a few other locations in CT. I'm not sure how Prime Wellness can charge more for the same item offered down the road in Hartford (Curaleaf). Prime also requires you to spend $500 to earn $5 loyalty points. Where Curaleaf in comparison required you to spend only $100 to earn $5. That means, Prime is 5x more expensive in that regard. Prime Wellness gives %10 discount off your purchase if you're a member of the compassionate care program. Where Curaleaf gives %20 discount on the same program. Its actually silly how much more Prime Wellness can charge their customers. I highly suggest shopping for your medications elsewhere.

Yes ,during high periods of Covid obviously there had to be changes made for the number of people going in at one time, due to safety. But in the last 2 months getting in and out has been very quick. Their system leaves a lot to be desired, the staff cares the bare minimum about the patients, and don't expect them to have in stock what you ordered. If you have your card and plan on visiting this dispensary, plan on waiting outside for an extended period of time with overzealous security personnel. I wouldn't even buy cbd for my cat here, because I'd probably have to come back three hours later to pick it up.

Unfortunately had several terrible experiences and not just minor errors but like deliberate “insult to injury” situations (i made these aware for weeks before they continually happened). My overall experience between the rapidly rude changing staff and the products which are there and never in stock again, its like you’re literally gambling with your time, money and health….i come here in severe debilitating pain on a regular basis looking for relief and leave here feeling worse on a whole different level. This isn’t personal, as i highly support AGL & CTPharma and Jenna H and Nani are extremely Helpful and Kind. I understand business is business with many aspects of the dispensary but as far as patients go (real humans with real health problems, not just dollar signs) you’re handling this all wrong.

The staff can be fabulous but if you can’t get the same product twice in a row it doesn’t matter. In a year and a half my pain regimen has had to change every single month because nothing can be repeated. Helpful advice from staff has included better ways I might smoke (I have asthma, that would be a hard “no”, tried that) and “oh no, can I substitute a completely different product you have never tried?” in response to a missing product. Nice but no thanks. Handicap parking availability is stupid, they block closer walking space because of line formation for their convenience. In the meantime prices climb 30% and more, way more. Non-smoker? Go elsewhere. This place doesn’t care about you or your medical needs.

Horrible attitude by the bald guy that works there. Will definitely be finding a better dispensary. Also they let people that start alertacations in before 2 patients one of which was minding their own business. Also employees like to make fun of the patients that visit.

Pharm Techs and Front of the house are awesome. Phone wait time minimum is 9-12 minutes in my experience. Very difficult to obtain the same product twice if it's in demand. Lines through ALL SEASONS are brutal. If you are into concentrates, stay away- there is little customer service around obtaining/keeping products supply based on their demand at this location. TOO MANY PATIENTS not enough products or staff. Switching to Fine Fettle. Also I have learned to never go there after 3pm on a Friday. >_

The product is good, pricing is good and the selection is good. However, customer service is poor. Phone hold times of 5-6 minutes are the norm and often I just hang up. Last time I had a curbside pickup, I was put on hold when calling them to tell them I was there. Another customer pulled in, called up and had their order brought out to them and I was still on hold. The excuse was they are short handed.

The customer service is off the charts. I’m blown away by how knowledgeable, personable, professional, patient, helpful, kind and caring the staff is. Though the menu can be overwhelming (SO much to choose from!), I had no trouble finding someone to help me pick out exactly what would best suit my needs. Each person with whom I interacted went above and beyond my expectations. I really did not know just how much these products have to offer, the benefits are countless. This is not about getting “high”, nor is it treated as such. I’m speechless. The woman at the checkout counter took her time to answer every question I had, and so many questions I didn’t even know I had. I’ve only made one purchase so far but I’m really excited to try more products. I bought a 1:1 CBD/THC lotion and cannot stop talking about it. Not unlike a genuine miracle, rub it on and the pain disappears!! The first night I used it, I slept better than I have in YEARS!
