Awesome place!!! Went there the other day for the first time and had a great experience everyone was so helpful. Definitely going back soon.
Cashier Tatyana impressed me and made me feel taken care of with her advanced knowledge of terpenes. She was patient with me and quick to call me to her register. She was also polite and had great customer service skills. Also, the receptionist and manager on site are also always very helpful. Thank you
The 2 Stars is because it is a great location for something that could be. A combo of the states atrocious and mind boggling regulations with the business itself are preventing that. I have traveled the world due to cannabis and this is my first CT dispensary. This was by far my least favorite experience of the last 11 years. I don't have the time to even explain the reason why in detail, it's mind numbing. For my experience, the quality of the cannabis was surely not good, especially for the price. Couldn't tell you about other flowers though, because you can't see them.Support the black market over this, or drive up to MA, it'll be worth it.
After yesterday's incident with the front desk lady, I would give zero stars. The staff at this branch is the slowest of all the Zen Leaf branches in CT.Yesterday, I went through the check-in, kindly passed my ID as always, and then waited for the locked doors to be opened before heading to shop. I had to go back to my car for another form of payment since you do not accept credit cards. When I returned, I tried to go back through the lobby, my ID was already in the database, waiting for the lady to open the locked doors. In other branches, they never make a problem letting me in again. NEVER. Unfortunately, the blonde older lady at the front desk acted like she was the most important person in the building, even more important than the manager.I am usually in a rush and want to make my purchase as soon as possible and leave. When I came back, there were two people at the front desk. So I stood next to locked doors waiting for lady to open, but the lady said I couldn't and needed to show my ID again. So, I stood next to the locked doors and passed her my ID. She started being petty and said I needed to go around her desk i cannot stand behind the desk, even if i didn't even make any step, still standing next to the doors. Its really small lobby so i dont see any reason to walk around lobby just to go thru doors i am already standing next to. I asked her again if she needed the ID I had already presented, she didn't respond to that question just insist that I need to go around the lobby. At this point I didnt know if she needs that ID or she just playing with me.I asked again IF SHE WOULD OPEN THE DOOR AFTER I SHOWED MY ID MANY TIMES, speaking CLEARLY because perhaps she didn’t understand English. She then yelled at me, claiming I was yelling at her. LOL. There I was, STILL standing in the lobby next to the locked door, after showing my ID three times, waiting for front desk lady to change her mood and to do her job. REALLY???Her coworker said everything was fine and you already got my id scanned and that she could let me in, but she still didn't. After several attempts, she finally pushed the button to open the door.As I was leaving the building, I told her I would speak with her manager next time about her unacceptable behavior. She started yelling after me leaving the building, "Yeah! Go ahead! He is here now, I am not afraid."Is that how your staff is trained to talk to customers?Does this lady knows what she has to do and what she supposed to not?Besides showing my ID, asking if I have preorder and waiting for the doors to be opened, what else ZEN LEAF NAUGATUCK required to do in order to shop without issues?I was in a hurry, but I will definitely talk to the manager next time about this incident. I am not sure if she understands that she is not supposed to harass clients. She always has some attitude, but this time it was too much. She shouldn't be working with people. The staff at this branch is the slowest of all the Zen Leaf branches in CT. They always take their time for everything even if its slow. Few weeks ago it was busy there was only 2 registers open, ppl getting frustrated in lanes and yet some stuff members behind desk had their time to talk about everything else but not the job or approach customers, and then 2 of the said they don't feel like working in crowd they going for lunch break?! lolI don't know what is going on here, but you are definitely the worst brunch from all ZEN LEAF in CT.DO BETTER
If the owner hires more ppl with a bubbly personality like Denzel I think zen leaf would be amazing. Customer service matters. Denzel is a vibe, I always leave with a smile on my face. Thank you my guy!
Great facility, location, and staff. Set up well, one of the few places that doesn’t require preorders for medical. Have designated parking spots and a seperate line for medical patients.
Went there as a medical patient. Was told the medical line was closed. 4 registers open but medical patients have to wait for the recreational customers to finish shopping before they can purchase. Weird because the sign says that medical patients can skip the line and they were told I was medical over walkie.
They closed well before their listed time of 5 on memorial day. (Probably by 2 hours) Their online order system was left on so I pulled all the way up to the store before realizing they weren't open. Not only am I frustrated, but a dozen cars pulled through the parking lot thinking they could also buy their weed today. I hope all those customers don't come back either, because I won't be.
I was worried it'd be a bad experience, judging by the previous reviews, but they have really cleaned up. Very processional and welcoming environment, and one I fully intend to revisit soon.
Dude at the front desk was cool, get to the back I was not directed to the medical register. Didn’t feel very welcoming. William does not have customer service etiquette. He asked me if I needed a bag and I told him no I can put it right in my pocket then switched up and said never mind your medical you have to have your stuff in a bag 😭 I was a little confused because I’ve never had that issue at any other dispensary as long as I concealed it before walking out , but yea walked out with my cute black bag. Overall just very dark&dry the doors slamming shut reminded me of jail doors ( clank clank) if you know what I mean 😭😂
Sorry Zen only 2 stars, but I gave 3 stars because it’s opening day. There were a few issues with our visit today. We were checked in without any trouble and then approached a huge ordering screen/kiosk. So large that I felt like my search and order choice was visible to everyone. I’m not so tall and it was a stretch to click the icons at the top of the screen. Then stood in a long~ish line wondering where the medical line was located. Finally noticed a rather small, out of the way sign that pointed the way. My order was confirmed and the associate went to get it in back. During the 8 + minutes it took for her to emerge from the back with ONE item the 2nd medical register checked out 4 customers. 🤨. But before returning to our register we watched her look at, recognize an apparent acquaintance and begin to strike up a conversation. After another excruciating few minutes she handed off my one item order to someone else to complete. He never spoke a word except to tell me how much it came to. No one at all, during a more than ten minute wait acknowledged us in any way. I’ve been in the medical program for nearly ten years and use many dispensaries. This was the worst experience so far.
