I'll start with the positive, Their manager Rusty is a pretty decent and understanding dude that does seem to put energy into retaining customers and working through issues, he's the only reason im giving 3 stars instead of 1 stars, that and they do have decent specials and variety of products.Cons: Well, You can tell by my name, i'm into concentrates. Infact i'm a bit of an OG myself. Is it just me, or is legalization worse than prop 215? Let's see, less transparency, higher prices (relative to market pricing) (a lb of good pot is $2k and less now back then it was $3-$4k for A+) Budtenders seem to know less about the product. There used to be samples for viewing and smelling, now all concentrates are sealed and you are esentially buying "blind". And then let's not forget 30% in taxes. It's actually killing the cannabis industry in california, Over california is ranked 14th of legalized states in per capita pot sales. The reason is Greed, and because of it many retailers are behind in debt obligations. I know why the black market is thriving, Better prices, Better customer service, and more transparency. I'm waiting for a radical change in how storefronts do business with their customers. Until then 3/5 stars, and that's generous.Recently I purchased expired product. I'll include pictures. The product was 11 months old and since they SAY that it expires in a year. Even tho it had completely oxidized and discolored and the product tasted old with that weird flavor change expired products go through. There was push back at first. That I should ask for the dates. Imagine a restaurant selling you old food with discoloration on it, brown lettuce, and you telling your waiter, and them telling you that you should have asked the date of the lettuce first. Honestly these people are completely insane when it comes to selling product, and they only function with such logic based on industry wide standards that have clearly lead to a failing California cannabis industry. Now I will say that the manager Rusty did refund me a store credit for the gram. But I paid $7 for delivery and If i wanted a replacement i was going to be charged another $7 to have it delivered according to another employee. More insanity. I used this opportunity to hit up some old black market connections and found better product for cheaper i just have to buy a little bit more in bulk and i will. Anyone reading this far is encouraged to remember you have options and power in your spending. Don't accept insanity or inferior customer service from greedy retailers and a government that wants to tax us 30% with their greed as well. People deserve to have better transparent access to what is medicine for many of us. Peace.(if you look at photos you will see product manufactured in July of 2023, almost a year old and clearly expired from discoloration which is oxidation for those of you that don't know cannabis is produce! don't let them sell you old produce! hold them accountable! Dark on top, much lighter on the bottom, clear evidence. Dispensaries responsibility to monitor all supply and mark down expired products severely to clearance before expiration and not keep stocked on shelf, they are still selling this at close to full price.)UPDATE: was called from store employee Jennifer, She gets a 10/10 Listened, Understood, Fixed problem, claims for desire to address underlying systematic issues, took notes from feedback. Rusty, owner, or any customer reading this. Jennifer was a complete pleasure to work with, and there could be hope.
Not worth ordering off of weed maps for delivery here !!! I've tried all the other dispensaries nearby so I wanted to give this spot a try, first off they messaged me after placing my order saying my phone number wasn't in service , and that my ID was invalid, neither of which were true. So I called them back from my number, and told them I'm clearly calling from my phone number listed so it isn't invalid, and also my id is valid and has no expiration date, I'm traveling from Arizona currently and have used it everywhere else in the area with no issue? I asked to speak to manager, instead The guy Brandon told me no and put me on hold for 5 minutes to go talk to a manager himself , and at that point I was over it Also when you go to check out they add a crazy amount of taxes, my subtotal was 70 and it came out to 100 total, thats ridiculous compared to other nearby delivery shops. Don't shop here!!
