I came out of town from Florida. My MMC card was honored. The process was very simple. The staff was extremely welcoming. The pre rolls came in 6 packs which were perfect for my trip. Definitely will be visiting again when I come back in a few months.

they are constantly changing their hours without notification and have wasted my time going up there on multiple occasions. Call ahead. Or waste your gas. Today I DOUBLE checked and the website said that even with street closures they would be open. I arrive and they have JUST closed right before 5pm now I have to go all the over to CANNABLISS which will be my dispensary unless it's an emergency.

Best out of town weed buying experience ever, we are from New York and usually encounter some problem or hitch when trying to buy weed when we travel. Anacostia removed all the red tape and rolled out the red carpet.

A friend has been recommending Anacostia Organics for some time and yesterday I had the opportunity to stop by. The staff, including the owner herself, was very welcoming. Upon arriving someone immediately assisted me with retrieving my documents and getting me set up.Their selection for product (edibles/tinctures, salves) is minimal and they have a decent selection of flower. Hopefully they’ll add some additional products (drinks, chocolate, teas, more flower options etc).My visit to Anacostia Organics was definitely worth not having to drive 30 mins into the city to other dispensaries if you’re closer to this side of DC. I’m giving 4 ⭐️ and not 5 only because I asked for a recommendation but it was oos.I will be back indefinitely 💚

I visited on a Saturday. The staff was professional ,knowledgeable, friendly and a huge help in selecting products. It was nice to see the flower before purchasing. Coming from the VA MMJ program, it was a breath of fresh air (or cannabis?). I selected The Good Night tincture, Panama Red and Hells OG for flower and pre rolls of Lemon Skunk, El Chivo, Hindu Kush and Jack Herer. I have only tried the El Chivo so far which was great for a night out at a comedy club. I’ll be saving my use of their products to weekends (will try out tincture during the week for sleep) since I don’t live nearby but plan to return every time I visit DC!

Customer service is through the roof amazing! They have a points system. But I can't rate higher because the prices are way too expensive! Unfortunately, although this is the closes place to me, the prices keep me from doing business here. They also don't have a huge range of product or size options for the prices they charge. It's unfortunate because I do enjoy this place.

I mistakenly assumed their “trim” product as better quality than it actually is. I called, simply out of concern to clarify. I was then offered a credit by “Patrick” as a onetime courtesy with expectations of me bringing the “trim” back. He said he will also note in the system.Upon returning with the “trim”..a representative saw the note Patrick left in the system and grabbed her assistant general manager. She then gives her explanation of trim and then refuses to honor the credit….also told me “YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT. So I simply disposed of it in their recycle bin. So they walk away with a profit and I walk away empty handed.During this extreme waste of time due to being extremely mislead..other representatives were agreeing with me to NEVER BUY TRIM again. While also throwing “Patrick” under the bus saying “that is what you get for leaving Patrick alone for 3 hours.”Definitely a way of making easy money off consumers in the low income neighborhoods of D.C. Find another dispensary that sells “trim”…you won’t..A lot of potential consumers right in their backyard commute across town to avoid this businesses bad practices.“TRIM” IS AN EXTREMELY POOR PRODUCT THAT SHOULD NOT BE USED TO PRODUCE PROFIT.

MED PATIENTS: i urge you to check takoma wellness center’s menu prior to placing an order at anacostia organics! i cannot emphasize this enough.i live 5 mins from anacostia organics but i saved $30+ by ordering delivery from takoma wellness center vs ordering the same exact 2 products from AO for pick-up - even after factoring in the delivery fee+driver tip.i hope that helps put into perspective how much anacostia organics is overcharging ward 6, ward 7, and ward 8 residents! price gouging is wrong and unnecessary

I have been here several times. Each time has been a very good experience. Each person I came in contact with were more than helpful, friendly and professional. They always have what I want. The only down side I found, was that some of their prices are 12-15 dollars more than some of the other dispensaries. I don't know why. I'm not sure who determines prices. However they often have daily discounts and sells, they make up for the higher prices. I have never been disappointed with their products. I will still rate 5 stars.

64+ thought I didn't make the cut. Thanks to the honorable Mayor until the end of the year FREE medical mariquana card for DC residents 21+. While any dispensary in the city has this benefit Anacostia Organics is right down the street. Easy peasy with a Real ID. The Best Stativa I've had in a real long time "Tyson" brand. Yes they are pricey however they run deals consistently to take a lil bite off the price. Highly🤔🤣 recommend 👌🏿

I went for the first time with my companion. I suffer from separation anxiety, both she and I were checking the place out as I had been frequenting another dispensary across town looking to change it up and support what is local. I was met with a police like interrogation asking if I had a card and such. I felt very uncomfortable and would not recommend anyone with symptoms such as mine to enter as this place may be a trigger. A different approach would have been appreciated given my service to this community.

I was only going after work for a pick me up. But will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. You don’t cancel orders without communication. That’s big weird.

I shopped here while visiting from Arizona.Although I arrived right before closing time on a Friday, I was pleasantly greeted and never felt rushed. I ordered online for curbside pickup but all new patients must show ID and Medical card inside.I was totally satisfied with the flower I purchased.I would defiantly go back for more. I also found the location very interesting and I suggest that you support the local businesses in the Area.
