shopped here continually for 3 months - they run a special everyday and I used that to test and enjoy ... different product while also patronizing other dispensaries ...In short this is about low grade or inferior product and dishonesty - the management at Green Jar regularly sell / pushes on special " mold infested weed " they ran BlueBerry Muffin for last 2 months and even after customers complaints about MOLD =- which can and will make you very sick , they maintained a position of ignorance and kept on selling - the counter staff while very kind are like children and have either near zero cannabis cultivation knowledge or are a little older and dont really care .. in addition to they had a couple good runs with Dutch Coffee and 1 or 2 others but alas their most recent run of Dutch Coffee and Glass Beach are pitiful and poorly cured almost like wet lettuce when ran through a grinder and flame resistant == hence we have decided to take a permanent pass on Green Jar and 2-4 of its suppliers and no longer recommend them for flower.

As a customer I shouldn't be able to see favoritism and lack of management within the store. Management is rude to their staff and only a few budtenders know their product. I used to go all the time and expected to pay more for their expertise; but now I'm just paying more. I'll be going elsewhere until they can get their act together

Best shop in Alaska. Been to most shops from Homer to Denali. Their prices are super competitive and their quality cant be matched. Deli style is the way to go unless you want your cannabis dried out and powder by the time you purchase it. Thank you Green Jar for standing above the rest. All the staff are extremely helpful and extremely knowledgeable as well. Matt was the best budtender I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. This shop is a must stop if you are in the area.

Extremely friendly. Superb customer service and good prices. We take advantage of the weed maps order ahead quiet frequently. My wife places the order and I swing by on my way past there run in and grab it. They always have the order ready and the budtenders and other employees are always super friendly and helpful. Today I went in grabbed our order and away we went like normal. Got home gave the "package" to the wife who started grabbing goodies from the bag. She quickly realized that one of the items in the order was not what she ordered. We called the store and they were super happy to have us bring it back and get us back on track with the correct product. We have always been happy with our purchase experiences here and today has made us even happier to continue shopping here.
